If I sign up will I be rebilled? I've heard that some companies take your credit card and wont stop rebilling

You will only be rebilled if you selected a rebilling option when you signed up. These are clearly marked when you sign up and are only available when joining via Verotel. If you sign up via phone, cash or cheque methods then you will never be rebilled. If you have elected for a recurring Verotel membership, then you can cancel at any time by visiting their Cancel Page.

How often do you do video sets?

Most of the early sets we did not do any videos for. For most of the sets in the future we are aiming to make some video footage. We are aiming to do this for approx 80-90% of the sets in the future, although unfortunately it is very time consuming to post process the videos which can lead to delays in getting these uploaded. We also aim to offer the occasional video preview in the free section of the site which is a 30 second teaser of the full video available to members.

How long are the member videos?

They vary in length, but most are around 10-20 minutes long.

How many photos are in each photoshoot

Early sets had 80-120 pictures, later ones have closer to 150, some have up to 200. It really depends on how we feel when doing the set, and how many of the photos come out good enough to make it onto the site. When we take video footage sometimes there are less than non-video sets due to the extra time we spend doing the shoot. You can see exactly how many photos are in each set by looking at the preview gallery which lists a figure for each set.

I've got a great idea for a set, will you film it and make my dreams come true?

Well, we aim to please :-) Seriously though, we would love to (within reason!). If it's something that one of our girls feels comfortable doing, and we have access to the materials required (clothing, props, location, etc) then we will put it onto our list of "set ideas" that we have. We've got heaps of ideas to produce already, but we always appreciate feedback from the community on what's hot and what's not. What resolution are the photosets?

All the photosets are available in 1024x768 resolution - from our research we have found this is a good tradeoff between the average users screen resolution, their bandwidth and still retaining sufficient quality. We have lower quality 800x600 and 640x480 pictures available if you are on a slow internet connection. Let us know and we can give you instructions on how to access the alternate versions.

What format/resolution are the videos

Newer videos are available in both WMV format and DivX AVI format at a resolution of 720x576. We encode the videos at approx 1 Mbps. The WMV videos are configured for streaming if you have a broadband connection that is capable (don't worry, our server can keep up!). For a sample of the quality of the videos take a look at the satin video tour. The DivX version should play on most modern PC's, Macs, and Linux machines - if you are having issues viewing the videos then we recommend downloading VLC Media Player which is available for almost every operating system imaginable and supports DivX natively.
A few earlier videos are 640x480 encoded in the DivX codec and AVI container.

I'm having problems downloading the videos

Some of the video files on the members side are very large - up to 150 Megabytes. You will need a good broadband connection to download these, and we recommend using a download manager if you are experiencing dropouts (a comparison of download managers is here). Most broadband users will have no problems downloading the videos
